This policy explains what YJ Electric Group (“we” or “us”) collects when you use yjelectricgroup.com, why we collect it, and who we share it with. We are an electrical contractor in Dallas, Texas. We do not sell personal information.
Information you give us
When you book a visit or request a quote, the form asks for:
- Your name, phone number, and email address
- The service address: street, city, state, and ZIP. If you pick your address from the suggestion list, we also save its map location so we can find the property.
- What you need done, plus any details or photos you choose to add
- How you prefer to be contacted, how you heard about us, and, if someone referred you, their name so we can thank them
We use this to quote, schedule, do, and invoice the work, and to contact you about it. Photos you upload are stored privately, and only our staff can see them.
If you apply for a job, we receive your name, phone number, email, the role you want, your years of experience, who referred you, and any message you write. If you ask for property manager portal access, we receive your name, company, phone number, email, and whether you manage residential or commercial properties. We use these only to respond to you.
Text messages
When you book a visit or request a quote, the “Text me my visit updates” box starts checked, and you can uncheck it. While it's checked, we text you about your request: your confirmation, arrival window, “on the way” notice, and job or quote status. After a job, we may send one message asking how we did. Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies. Reply STOP to any message to stop them, or HELP for help. Agreeing is not a condition of service.
Promotional texts and emails, like maintenance reminders, seasonal tips, and offers, are separate and optional. That box starts unchecked, and we only send them if you check it. Replying STOP, or using the unsubscribe link in any email, stops promotional messages on every channel, not just the one you replied on.
We do not share your phone number, or your consent to receive texts, with anyone for their own marketing.
Information collected automatically
Like most websites, ours records how you found us so we can tell which advertising is worth paying for. When you arrive, we store the following in your browser for 90 days:
- Campaign tags in the link you followed (utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign, utm_term, and utm_content)
- Ad click identifiers from Google, Meta, and Microsoft (gclid, gbraid, wbraid, fbclid, and msclkid)
- The page you landed on, the site that sent you, and the time
If you go on to send us a request, this information goes with it, so we can connect the job to the ad that produced it. If you never send anything, it stays in your browser and reaches us only as anonymous traffic statistics. Clearing your browser data removes it.
Our analytics tools also record which pages you view and what you do on them, such as tapping our phone number, starting a booking, or checking whether your ZIP code is in our service area. Google Analytics keeps this detailed data for 14 months.
Who we share information with
| Service | What it receives | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Google Analytics and Google Ads | Pages viewed, actions taken, and ad identifiers | To measure which ads and pages lead to requests, and to show our ads to people who visited |
| Meta (Facebook and Instagram) | Pages viewed and actions taken, through the Meta pixel | To measure and target our advertising |
| Google Maps | The address you type into the address box | To suggest and check the service address |
| Cloudflare | Site hosting, cookie-free visit counts, and a security check on the booking form | To run the site and block automated spam |
| Formspree | Job applications, portal requests, and a booking request only if our own system is down | To deliver those forms to us |
| Our phone, text, and email providers | Your phone number, email, and the messages we exchange | To send and receive texts and emails |
| Stripe | Your card or bank details when you pay an invoice online | To process the payment. We never see your full card number. |
These companies handle data under their own privacy policies. To see how Google uses information from sites that use its services, visit policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites. We also use these tools to build ad audiences, for example to show a follow-up ad to someone who started a booking and didn't finish.

- Promotional messages. Reply STOP to a text, or use the unsubscribe link in any email.
- Your information. You can ask what we hold about you, and ask us to correct or delete it. Email us and we'll take care of it. We keep job records as long as we need them for warranty, tax, and legal reasons.
