Smoke and CO detectors for peace of mind in every bedroom.
Interconnected, hardwired smoke and carbon monoxide detectors that meet Texas code.
If one alarm sounds, every alarm should.
We install hardwired, interconnected smoke and CO detectors with battery backup, placed where code and common sense say they belong. If yours are more than ten years old, it's time to replace them. We confirm how many detectors your home needs when we arrive.
Protection that works together.
Common questions.
What's the difference between battery and hardwired detectors?
Hardwired detectors run on your home's power with a battery backup, and they're interconnected, so they're more reliable. Battery-only detectors stand alone and need regular battery changes.
How many detectors does my home need?
Texas code calls for one inside every bedroom, one outside each sleeping area, and one on every level. We'll give you a clear count before we start.
How old is too old?
Most manufacturers recommend replacing detectors every 10 years. Older units may not respond reliably, even if they still beep when you test them.
Do you install CO detectors too?
Yes. CO detectors are required within 15 feet of sleeping areas in homes with gas appliances or attached garages. We install combination smoke and CO units for cleaner coverage.
